Intuition and first baby purchase!!

First of all, as my last post of the year - I want to wish you all a VERY Happy New Year! I hope this year is a fantastic one for us all!

I have a strong intuition as to what this baby is, but I haven't told anyone. I just keep throwing things out there, but don't want to say.

I wonder how strong the woman's intuition as to what they're having is? I mean, you could certainly be wrong. I should talk to more people about what they felt. I've never really felt this strong one way or the other. Last time I kinda thought it might be a girl, but really didn't know.

I guess we'll see on February 4th! I'm so excited! Someone on tww was posting how she went to a ultrasound college, which is a GREAT idea! I mean, people go all the time to the massage school to get a cheap massage - why not a u/s school?! They've got to learn too! I'll be happy to be their guinea pig! heehehe

Here is my first baby purchase! Isn't it adorable?! It's a babys first Christmas outfit! They're all on sale eveywhere - why not? I have to say though, it does feel kind of weird buying things for this baby - but I'm 15 weeks now! I guess it's time, because technicall I'm almost half way there! Wow...

So far all I have is this outfit, and a free Playtex bottle I got in the mall from a free offer. I mean, I have tons I saved from my last daughter, but nothing new. I haven't decided if I'm going to use DD's crib, which is a light wood color, or if I'm going to get new? I really want a Cherry set, but I don't know, I could save that money and just purchase the dresser/changer combo I want. Hmmm.. thoughts to ponder.

I know I want this swing.

It's so cute, and PERFECT when they're wee bitty! It's so soft and comfy too. I can't wait to get it!

As for travel systems - I either want this one, which is the Quattro Tour Deluxe Travel System Style: 1749737 -

Not sure though - but I'm really leaning towards that one.

It's so much fun now to actually look, and think about what you want and like!

It'll be even MORE fun once I know what is in there!

People getting on my NERVES!

OMG.. I can't even begin to tell you how many people are annoying me. Everyone!!

I know it's the raging hormones, but c'mon people. I think there is something that happens when you become pregnant where you can't tolerate people what so ever. Everones stupidity is making me nuts. People say things that piss me off, make me roll my eyes and want to scream!
Sometimes when I'm driving, I envision having bumper-like cars so you could just shove the person in front of you.
lol....

I'm glad my Husband understands me at the moment, and tells me I have an excuse. But others don't understand.

PREGNANCY HORMONES SUCK!!!

I'm just so quick to jump on people, when someone says something that just doesn't make sense, or sounds stupid to me, I have to get onto them.

We were Christmas shopping on December 23rd, and I was at Sears. I was standing in line for EVER and was next in line. Well the stupid wench Cashier opens the register next to me, and this OLD FART MAN and his ugly ass family RUN over to the register! I'm not kidding you, this old man almost ran me over with his buggy!

I yelled at him "Ya, you weren't even NEXT, but whatever!" - I'm just so shocked! But I fully blame the cashier for not saying "I can help the next person in line" instead of just flipping on her light, and the old fool who didn't even wait a MINUTE just runs up to the line, while everyone else has been waiting a long time.

I think Dh said something too. The next lady after the jerk said to me "Mam, do you want to come here" <-- she was so sweet, but I was livid at this point, and I wanted nothing to do with that line, that cashier and I just said eff it!

I was pissed!

Well, hopefully things will level off at some point. I just want to smile, be happy and have people not annoy me or say stupid things. That would be nice! :) Of course it would be nice if I had the patience level also.. lol

I think I'm up to date!

Well, after all of that, I think I'm up to date now with my journal. I'm such a slacker, I've been wanting to do this the whole time, but I guess I just didn't want to jinx it and start writing too soon.

2nd Dr. appt! :) 12-15-08!

Well, Dr. came in with the Doppler, and I said "Mrs. .... said I was getting an u/s this time" She said "Oh ya... I'll go get it" So she comes back with the u/s machine, and there was my babe! Moving all around, and had a heartbeat of 164! :) It was a nice site! Starting to feel more real.

The baby measured 12w2d, however, she's keeping my original due date of the 24th - 12w5d. That's fine with me! Whatever!

11w2d! December 10th) I HEARD the heartbeat!!!

I've been trying to hear the heartbeat with my babybeat home doppler for a while. I know the magic time is about 12w, but tonight I tried it and I HEARD IT!! :) So happy!!

Thanksgiving...

This is the day we told the family. We're still not telling strangers until I'm 12 weeks, and honestly I wasn't even going to tell family until then either, but we were going through the table saying what we were thankful for, and I just had to! I'm so thankful for this baby that took so long to conceive... I couldn't hold it in!

Here's a goofy/stupid picture of DH and I on thanksgiving! this pretty much sums up our everyday life.. We're very much happy, laughers, and just love life! :)This is a photo of my youngest sweetness, and her Grandpa!

Here is a picture of the DELICIOUS - white chocolate rasberry cheesecake I made! It was amazing!!!

It felt good to get it out to family! They were happy, but kind of acted like I could have another loss.... I just don't even want to think about last time (even though I can't help it) I don't want others to!

First Dr. Appt and other ramblings..

Well, today is my first Dr's appt. November 17, 2008!

It was so scary, when I went in, talked to the P.A for a long time, went over history, ect. Then she did the STD swab, but no pap because I had one last fall, and then got ready for the u/s.

This is the nightmare that started my m/c last year. It was awful, and you're never going to believe this time started out almost the same way! I was laying there, and she COULD NOT FIND MY BABY!!!!

ugh!!

So, she sees I have a full bladder, and asks me to go empty it. So I do and come back, another 5 minutes of jabbing my cervix SHE FINDS my baby!!! ":) It didn't last long, but long enough to SEE THE HEARTBEAT!!! Then we lost it... (not the hb, the baby) she couldn't get it back, so she had to get the other Dr to come in and he couldn't EITHER! Well, then they decide to do an abdominal u/s (they should have started this to begin with) and there was my beautiful bean... heart pumping away! They couldn't measure it yet, but said the rate was perfect!!!!

Baby was measuring 8w 2d.

2nd beta! (Saturday October, 18

Today I go in for my 2nd beta draw..


Got the results and it's 109!!! Wow! What a great increase!
With my last dd, my first was 30, and the 2nd was only 84! This is a GREAT increase! Maybe it's real? Maybe this is happening??!!

16th Wedding Anniversary! (the day I told DH)

Dh and I got married October 17, 1992! :) I was a very young girl!

Ok, for the good stuff! DH and I went out to see a movie. We saw "Quarantine" It was - ok... Not the best movie... Anyway, this was before the movie. I wrapped up a digital HPT (I had to take another) and gave it to him. DH gave me a gorgeous gold coin necklace that was his late Mothers. I adore it, it's gorgeous!

Anyway, here is DH opening his gift!

OMG! OMG! OMG! :) I just can't believe it! OMG! The look on his face is priceless, isn't it?

SO happy! :D :D:D Here's a picture of us eating dinner at the melting pot. DH had a dozen roses waiting for me at the table. He's so thoughtful and sweet! :)

Got my beta back and it's 36!! I'll take 36, My last dd my beta was 30! So not bad! I go back Saturday for a repeat!

Also, I haven't told DH at all about this pregnancy. Our wedding anniversary is tomorrow, and I can't wait to wrap up the digital and give it to him! He's going to be so happy!

Well, today I stopped @ walmart again because I'm done with all the HPT's. I had to buy more, plus a pack of digitals.

I took a digital today.....

PREGNANT!!!!

What a beautiful, beautiful word! :) It all happened to quickly too! It just seems like you go from no hope, because you're testing too damn early, to a bfp in just a couple days!!!

The next day...

The next day at lunch I went and got another HPT. This time I got the good ol' faithful, FRER. In case you don't know what that is - it's FIRST RESPONSE! It's basically the Mercedes of HPT's. lol
Now this was a funny sight (to me) I couldn't even wait, I peed on a FRER in the walmart bathroom! With a bag of some other things I had purchased hanging on the door! It was really weird, but I couldn't wait! I had to do it then, so I could watch it change in the car while I got some lunch......

As you can see, it's darker than yesterdays!

This photo I took WAS of yesterdays test. I wanted to show a photo of it, how it darkened over time. It was so uber faint when I took it, but it got darker within the next 24 hours!

On this date, one year ago I lost my baby. :( I miscarried the baby it took DH and I 5 years to get pregnant with.

So that day, I took my youngest to dance class, and after we went to the Halloween store to look at some Halloween stuff, and then we headed over to Walmart. I got a 2 pack of Answer HPT's. On this day I was 9dpo. Now, I kept thinking all night "What if I got a + HPT tonight, on the one year anniversary of the M/C?"

So I went home, and took the test. When I peed on it, it really didn't look any different than any other negative HPT I've taken over the years, but something started happening. While I was doing my usual stare down the HPT, and checking it out in different lights, ect, I noticed a very faint line. At this time I didn't think it could be possible. I mean, omg !!

My hands were SHAKING at this point, hence the blurry photo!

Perhaps these photos don't even look like positives to the un-trained eye, but trust me.... They were! My beta this day had to have been under 10.

Peeing on a STICK

Ok, so I did my usual stock up on HPT's. I started testing with New Choice, dollar tree about 6dpo, which is ridiculous. I know, but one who's been ttc for so long can tell you - there is an addiction that no one else can understand.

My Dh used to always say "Why don't you just wait to see if you bleed, then you'll know"

HAHAHAHA!!

Well, I guess I'll start from last AF.

We BD (baby danced) about 5 times that cycle (fertile time) week. I'm pretty sure I know the date I conceived though - October 5, 2008.
