Passed the 3hr!!!

I passed the 3hr glucose test. I'm SOOOO happy!!!! I can't even imagine having GD. My numbers were within range thank goodness!!!

So now I only have 2 appts until I give birth!! Wow...

8.5 weeks to go!!! :)

C-section is scheduled for June 18th! :)


I had to re-take the glucose test, as I failed the 1hr. ugh... My number was 157. So I'll find out Monday if I have GD or not. I sure hope not, but either way, I suppose it's best for my (and Gabi's )health to treat this and take care of it if I do!

I'm really anxious to stop working. Things are REALLY loco at my POE, and I'm so done.

Tomorrow I have the glucose test. YUCK! I'm hoping I pass. I haven't had any of my usual candy this evening, or even a soda - and I wont in the morning either. I just want to pass this darn thing!

The nursery is coming along beautifully!! Tonight DH made me a wooden valance! :) Then I put quilting batting on , and then I used one of the extra crib skirts I got for the bedding! :)

I can't wait to post pics! But I'm going to wait until it's all done.

First of all, we had a HUGE blizzard on Thursday March 28th! A TON of snow (we got 17in)

27 weeks!! :)

I'm 27 weeks!! :) That's my 3rd trimester!

I have 11 weeks until my baby is here!!!

I have a ton to do!

I get to see her precious face NEXT week on my 4D ultrasound!!

I'm not ready to go back to work!

It's going to SNOW a lot tomorrow!!!! YUCK!

She's moving all over -- so much!

Just thought I'd put where she's at! :D

Let your spouse put an ear to your belly -- he might be able to pick up baby's heartbeat (no stethoscope required). The best part! I took off one strip of tape to see how my stripe looks -- VIOLA! It's so purdy!! I can't wait until it's ALL DONE! :D The left strip is what it's going to look like - We're adding the chair rail soon.

Tons of progress!!

Actually, we have ALL of the stripes painted now!! They're GORGEOUS!! omg, I can't wait until her room is done!!!

So basically about her name, we're open to both of our choices. DH #1 fav is Selah. I have to agree, it's a beautiful name -- so pretty, and so unique!
However, we keep calling her Gabi! lol.. So We're going to see how much Selah wears on us, and if we really love it. So far I adore it! But we're used to Gabi.

So we'll see I guess. Maybe now I'm going to end up even MORE confused!! UGH!!


Ok, just wanted to update. I took pics, but I'll post em' later. The camera is up in the nursery, I'm tired as heck, and I'm getting a massage in my chair. lol

Belly pic, NEW name and nursery progress!! :D

Soooo.... We've been SO busy, shopping, painting, cleaning... you name it! It's been great!

So this is how the nursery is coming along...

Brown is on the bottom, and there is going to be pink and white stripes up top! With a white chair rail in the middle! It's going to be darling!

SO this first photo is me putting on the *new* light pink (it looks white in comparison to the OLD pink)

Another shot -- you can see all the mess in the room, but the brown on the bottom! It's going to be SO CUTE!!

This one was taken tonight -- This is the tape for the stripes that Daddy did tonight. He's taping them off so I can paint up the white!

26 weeks!! :) I was laying on the couch when I took this photo! I actually have *real* ones, but this was cute I thought! -- DID You know at 27 weeks there is a 85% chance of survival if the baby is born?! -- AMAZING!

FINALLY --- we have decided on this name I think... *gasp....

As much as we loved Gabriela, it's just a bit too trendy for us I think. We've really been looking for a very special name, but one that is unique!

I work in a school and it's near impossible not having some kind of name association with a kid. I wanted her to have a special name that isn't popular.

This name is extremely special -- it's in the bible many times, all over Psalms.

there is a couple ways to pronounce it -- One is..

"Say-Lah" - the other is "See-Lah" - and one of our fav's (the one we'll probably use) is

"Sell-Ah"

We LOVE this name! It's so pretty! It just rolls off your tongue.

Look the name up -- it's such a beautiful name.

Ok, that's it for the moment. MORE painting tomorrow! Then we're cleaning the carpets! Ohh, and Daddy has to fertilize the lawn!! yikes!

So exciting, it's under 100 days now until my little girl is here!!! :)

Time is going by SO fast -- so hard to believe!!

I'm off for the next 10 days -- and have a TON to do!! I'm hoping to finish the nursery, paint my hallway, frame some more of my photography, unclutter, clean, finish off her closet, bla bla bla...
Will it happen? Who knows. She's moving like crazy now!! All over the place, she's very active, that's for sure!
I am doubting her name a little bit... hmmm.. which is stupid, I mean, I don't know. I still love Charlotte which was one of our fav's -- and then sometimes I think of something more modern too I like, but we'll probably just keep Gabi. lol

Best Husband on the planet!! :)

My sweet, amazing, wonderful, loving husband sent these to me at work yesterday! :) Aren't they gorgeous? I just love him!! He's the best!!! EVER! :)

Baby is doing wonderful -- I've just been SO busy with so many things, and I think I'm going to do a belly photo every other week now -- I'm not sure, since there isn't a HUGE growth every week. I did take it last week, just didn't post it.

Baby is doing big rolls all inside my belly - she's definitely running out of room and getting huge!!

Well - one more day of work, and then it's OFF for 11 days!! I'm SO EXCITED!!! Woo hoo!

24 (almost 25) week appt!

So I had my Appt. with my new Dr! I switched Dr's, didn't want to go to the other one I was going to anymore - and with my insurance, I didn't see her much anyway!

I LOVE HIM!!! He's such an amazing Dr.!!
We talked about everything!

So - We discussed the c-section, and he was talking to me on vbac, and how this is my "only chance" to try it, ect... I was like "Um, ya, I've BTDT, and um -no. I don't care to ever have labor again"

So, he basically said anytime after June 17th I want I can schedule the surgery!!! :D
He said I could even go into labor on my own, and I was like lol - that defeats the point. No thanks...

The hospital is SO nice!! It's very new, and such a cute hospital!

My next appt is my 28w glucose test. I'm hoping I pass!!! Kinda nervous about that.

Our income tax money just came yesterday so we have a lot of house work to do. So many things I want done by the time Gabi gets here.

I only have a few things left to buy!! :) I'm going to finish that all up in the next few weeks I think.

Sleeping is a challenge lately. I feel so big, so turning, getting up 3 or 4 times.. all of that, it's not easy.

So 24 hours on antibiotics! I'm feeling better...

I'm 24 weeks!!!!

Yay!! :) That's such a good feeling to be at a legally viable stage! Gabi is kicking me all over the place, and they're getting quite strong! Rolls, jabs and all of that!

I just wanna feel better!!

So, back from Dr. I have a sinus infection, and the start of bronchitis. Fun.

They also did the influenza test, because our school has had 3 cases of Influenza-B come in, so I've been exposed.
What fun!! (not) Have you ever had a flu test? omg.. such a weird feeling. They put a syringe full of saline up your nose with a long tube, squirt it all up in your sinus, and suck it back out within 10 seconds or so, and you CAN'T swallow!! If you did, they've have to re-do it. Yuck.
Anyway, they did the rapid one, and it was negative (thank god) So I'm on amox for 10 days to clear this up.
I just want to sleep better! I want to FEEL better. This is the first time I've been sick this pregnancy - this whole winter, and it's hit me. :( wahhhhh...

Sick :(

I'm sick.. Sucks!

I'm going to the Dr. today - I never go for anything, especially when sick! - but when you're pregnant it's probably best to go!
Sleeping sucks so bad. I can't breathe, everything is backed up, I ache. I don't think it's influenza because I don't have a fever.

I'm tired of it and it's only been 3 days.. so off I go today.

Last week I had a *mad* craving for chili cheese fries! Well, I was going to go to Sonic, but then dd found some fries in the freezer, and I had a can of chili - so I heated up the chili, baked the fries, and added velvetta in the chili (I might have told this story) Anyway - here is the result...

I just got my swing!!!! :)

Yay!!! :) So here I am, just sitting online, and I thought I'd check walmart.com for prices - it was........ $120!!!! Holy cow! Way cheap!

This is usually at least $179, $169, and I've seen it for $149 - but never just a flat $120! So I just got it! It's being delivered to the store by my house..

Speaking of the walmart by my house -- isn't this cute? lol... "Parking for expectant mothers" I love it! It's right next to handicap... haahehehee...

Anyway - I'm so happy that is marked off the list... I know she'll be doing a lot of sleeping and resting in that thing.. and it's so cute!!! :D
