My new purchase!!!

Ok - here it is.. The *best* deal of the week!!!!

It's weird, I was planning on getting the chicco keyfit travel system - I even have it on my registry, but since I've read some things that just didn't really care for - or wouldn't be a good fit for our family, so I've been on the look out for a cute Graco I'd like. I have liked the mulberry for a while (the typical pink one you see in stores now)

I was in Target (again) today looking for more of those sales on my bedding - to see if anything else was left of it all, and guess what I found? A brand new, Graco Alano "Emelia" for 60% OFF!!

It's FULL price of $189.99 on the Target website as we speak! I'm SO shocked!!!! :D I just can't believe it, what an amazing deal!! :D

DH is going to put together the stroller in a few, and then I'll post some pics of the whole thing! I'm excited! It's so cute, and has high ratings. So I'm all set there!

19 weeks!! :D

Best part ever? I got my baby bedding!! At the *most* incredible deal ever... and you all know how I LOVE my sales!! :D I'm happy! :) It's not what I went out looking for, but I'm glad to have it anyway! We can't wait to decorate the nursery!

My nursery "before"!

Ok, so don't laugh!!! hahahahaha

I thought it would be fun to post my "before" shot of the nursery. Let me give you a little history of this room. It was DD's room when we moved in this house (she was 4) and stayed here until about age 6 or so. Since then it's been the room where everyone throws their stuff when they don't want it, my girls will constantly put things in there they don't want in their room, I hung all kinds of odd ball things on the wall because I didn't want them sitting on the ground.

This is all ironic because we have sufficient storage in our basement! This is us being lazy!

This old futon couch we inherited when DH's aunt passed away. Which has been fine when people stay over, it turns into a nice little bed.

But it's ALL coming out!! And beautiful little baby stuff is coming in!

It's going to be fun to show the "After" shot of this! I can't wait! It'll be night/day I'm sure!

As you can see, we have a very old "pet net" where you stick old stuffed animals (I'm donating those) An older monitor, a chair, futon couch, tons of bags of old clothes, miscellaneous pictures on the wall, Easter baskets! Ohhh how funny!

I think "As is" it would be a pretty cute nursery! (just cleaned) however, we're going to go with the whole pink and brown look (I think) so... this isn't going to work! But, BOY - would that be easy!

That old Monet to the left on the wall is a photo DH and I bought when we first got married.. lol

You'll see how adorable this room is in a couple months! Just wait!

It's Saturday and I'm lazy!

Nothing much really. Last night was great at my family. We played Poker and at some delicious food! We had Salmon and Chicken, great salad, potato's and veggies! It was just what I was hungry for!

Our oldest Daughter is gone for the weekend at a musical conference, so it's been kinda nice actually! haha

This morning we woke up and went and had breakfast at Burger King! :) Yum!!!

While walking in there I had another one of those brief dizzy episodes again! They don't last long, but are weird! I'll make sure to mention them to my Dr. at my 24w appt! I don't see her at 20w, as I'm having my anatomy u/s then. I can't wait to see my little peanut again!

My Father in Law is so happy for us, and really into this pregnancy. I think it's new life for him, and he loves being a Grandparent. He rubbed my belly last night.. So cute.

It was such a great night last night!

Today I'm washing the bedding and doing a little housework. I love Saturdays!! I hope these dizzy spells don't last long -- I can't function m-f knowing these are going to strike at any moment!

I've still only gained 9lbs this whole pregnancy, which is good thus far. I wish I'd only gain another 10 or so.. I just don't want to gain too much! But I do know it comes off super fast when all said and done...

My 18 week belly photo!! :)

I feel like a heffer!! I feel so big, but dh politely reminded me today of how much BIGGER I'm going to get! hahahaha..

Nothing much, today at work I got an episode of being very lightheaded/dizzy for a little bit, but I think it's because I had a lot of sugar things this morning, and no real protein! I came home, had some hamburger and cheese and I feel much better.

Tonight is the one year anniversary of my beloved Mother-in-Law's death, and we're just going to go be with our family and eat some food and be with my Father-in-Law.

I plan on not doing MUCH this weekend, I just wanna be a bum and lounge around. Here are my photos this week. I took them today and I'm a bit more than 18 weeks, but still - I like to do them on Friday.

I had to shop! I'm having a DAUGHTER!!

I definitely had to do some shopping the night I found out I'm having a baby girl! :)

There are two big priced items I need, which are the Graco newborn swing, and my travel system (car seat/stroller combo)

We still have to buy the baby bedding, which isn't cheap either. So we've got several things to buy. It's definitely fun looking at this all though, I'm loving it!

17 weeks!

Today was the best day! As you can see from this photo I took on the way to the ultrasound! It was 63' outside - and AWESOME! Aside from the fact that we found out we're having our 3rd Daughter, the weather was perfect and it's the WEEKEND! How can it better than all that?

She's SO sweet you guys! Such an active little girl ALREADY! She's breach at the moment, and was playing with her feet - she was actually grabbing down to her foot and holding on to it!

It's a miracle!

I'm so happy!!

I KNEW IT!! ---- It's A.................

She's ALL girl! She's SO active - I think the candy bar I ate in the waiting room drove the guy nuts! She was so active!! :)

Today was my 17 week OB appt. Went nice! Very boring appt (I like those) BP was 114/72 - and everything else great. Baby's heart rate was 146, which is usually about what I pick up at home.

I don't see my OB until I'm 24 weeks! Wow... I go in for my anatomy ultrasound Feb 4th. We discussed some things, and then I was out of there. It really was a fast appt. My Uterus is now at my belly button - which she said was "right on" So... Here I am! I am about half way done with my pregnancy already! wow!!

Changed my mind!!!

Well, I changed my mind... :)

I'm going in THIS FRIDAY for mf private 3D Ultrasound to determine the gender!

I just couldn't hold out. Too many cute things out there, and I want to know one way or the other. I have two daughters already, and I have a pink nursery at the moment. I don't think I want plain yellow - creme - green things.

So......

FRIDAY!! THIS FRIDAY!!

And no one better call me until at LEAST Friday night! lol....

Nothing new really....

I'll take my new belly picture on Friday! :) It's amazing that in the morning I'm not very big, but by evening I'm pretty big.. lol. Especially if you add in the fact that I have a full bladder - then I'm REALLY big!

I've still been looking at gender neutral bedding. I really like this one a lot, not sure which I like better - bee's or this one.

Couple of reasons - my crib is light - so a darker bedding might look better, and I have a lot more color choices and ideas to paint the nursery.

I definitely want a nursery that is baby'ish. There are a lot of modern looks out there, but I'd like to keep the same look until like 3 or so, or when we go to a toddler bed. Sounds much easier to me!

The heartbeat has been between 144-150. So, it's right in the middle.

People are noticing!!

I was at work on Friday when a girl came up to me and said "You know, you're not suppose to dye your hair when you have a bun in the oven"
I said "my Dr. said it was ok after 14 weeks"
She said " WHY didn't you tell me you were pregnant!!"

I'm excited people are noticing!! I even had a bunch of others ask (gang up) on me.. lol It's cute. People love a pregnant person! I really think they like it even more when you're keeping the baby a surprise! They get SO passionate about it and excited!
I think I will too!

I despise clothing with the word "BABY" on it, or anything with writing on it really. So, it's not like I can show up in something like that. Plus I'm at the awkward stage, where I could possibly be fat - or gaining weight, but maybe not. lol

Speaking of pregnancy clothes, I'm TIRED of maternity! Actually I'm tired of LOOKING at maternity clothes!
I don't want to get too many pants - right now I have about 8 pairs or so of maternity, maybe a couple more. But, I'm sure I'll be totally in shorts by May. I KNOW I'll be hot. I've had June baby before! So, bring on the tank tops, and shorts! I can't wait to flaunt my big watermelon!

Not going to find out...

ACK!

I've been going back and forth, and back and forth... - But I don't think we're going to find out the sex of this baby! It's So exciting! It's something I've NEVER done - or never could do. But one thing I'm learning as I get older, is surprises are so exciting - and there are VERY few left in life, and this is one I absolutely can control, and it's fun!

This all started when I started getting SAD (of all emotions) that the time was coming up to find out! Like it was almost over for the wondering and surprises! It's a daily thing of "I wonder if it's a boy or a girl" and it's sort of sad that I wont have that feeling anymore. Therefore I don't' think I should find out. This is FUN! Sorry Mom!! If anything you can buy cute little gender neutral things now, which is only outfits.

I think we'll buy one cute take home girl outfit, and one boy. Then I'll just return the one I don't use. It's ok. !

If it's a girl, I'm ALL set. I have tons of things, if it's a boy - I'll be set because I'm going to go out and get onesies and some gender neutral sleepers - and really, what more do I need?

16 weeks!!

I am four months pregnant!!! :D I'm so happy!! I took a couple different pictures today. The 2nd one is a new sweater I got. I think I kind of look (and feel) like a sausage link in that. Does it look like it? lol Baby is kicking so much, I don't even feel the need to run to my doppler every day now. I mean, ya - I do check it still, but it's usually just "cuz" more than anything.

Oh, and I also bought a package of newborn diapers today - they were on sale at Target for $9. I couldn't resist! They're SO cute! SO dang tiny, I mean, I buy them for DD's dolls.. They're SO small!! I know they aren't in these very long - but I just had to.

More and more people are coming up to me noticing I'm pregnant now too. Not that I've announced it on the loud speaker or anything - but look at these pics. It's getting harder to hide not that I am anymore, but still.

Sneezing and Insomnia [oh my]

Ya, my two biggest things going on. Last night I was up from 2-4am. I just got up to pee at 2am, and yup -- couldn't get back to bed. Tossed, turned. It's the most annoying thing I think. I never - ever had any kind of insomnia. I mean, this girl can SLEEP! But for some reason as soon as I got pregnant, I've had this! It can't be any more annoying! I have things to do, I have to be up early! I can't be doing this!

Sneezing. UGH! I sneeze SO much! Every day, multiple times a day - big heavy sneezes like you do when you're sick (but I'm not sick)
I hear this is "normal" but it's so annoying. I really feel like I need an allergy med or something -- but I don't have allergies!

Just venting.... I'm tired. I had NO sleep last night, and I got up about 15 minutes late today.

LOL!!

"Can I have a Mustard Sandwich with Pickles, Anchovies, Peanut Butter, and a Little Cottage Cheese?... Oh, and throw a few Fish Sticks on there!" (From Belly Laughs)

How true is this? Would you LOOK at this freaking disgusting looking sandwich? It was GOOD!

I told you I made meatloaf the night before, right? Well last night I was hungry, and a meatloaf sandwich sounded SO good to me! So I used mayo and sliced sweet pickles! Dh and DD were in disgust with me.. Looking at me like I was eating something really bad.. lol





I guess if you look at it, it doesn't' look THAT pretty - and probably to the non-pregnant person it would be... lol I was one of those that loathed pickles pre-pregnancy, we're talkin' I never ate them on hamburgers, or anything. I'm so addicted to the sour/vinegar or something now! It was weird, I mean, rationally I knew what I was eating was gross, but it was delicious.
Hence the need to grab my camera. Another strange things about my cravings, is I can get a fast, probably disgusting craving to the non-pregnant, but the next day the thought of that grosses me out! Very few things I crave don't last long. I'll never forget when I was first pregnant, and I had my first craving. I was making Italian meatballs with marinara sauce. Some overwhelming gross-ness came over me and there was NO way I could eat those! I NEEDED Pad-Thai! I was dying for it! So, my wonderful DH let us all go out so I could order Pad-Thai!
It was SOO good! I almost at the whole take out! However, the next night I was disgusted by it!
My cravings have been pretty much the same the whole time!
